Back Where He Belongs: Petar Kunić Returns to the Borac Family
A product of Borac’s youth academy, Petar Kunić grew up at Platonova Street with the red and blue shirt close to his heart from an early age. He experienced both good and more difficult moments at our club, and now our football paths have crossed once again.
Petar Kunić has returned to his football home, and after signing a one-year contract, he could not hide his delight.
“Borac has always been more than a club to me. The City Stadium is my second home, and I experienced some of the finest moments of my career wearing the Borac shirt. Returning to the place where it all began is a special feeling,” said Kunić.
Immediately after signing his contract, he joined the team in training. He is fully aware of all the challenges that lie ahead for him and his teammates.
“Our responsibility is to compete for every trophy and try to reach the league phase of the UEFA Conference League. Throughout my career, I have learned that only hard work brings results, so we all know what we have to do. We have quality, and it is up to us to improve from one match to the next. I am also counting on the tremendous support of our fans. Banja Luka lives for Borac, and together we can write new pages of history,” Kunić said.
