Champions Days in Platonova: Congratulations Arriving from All Sides
Congratulations have been pouring in from all directions following our championship title victory.
Our “red and blues” proved on the pitch that they had no equal this season, and their outstanding performances have been crowned with the fourth league title in the club’s history.
Numerous football clubs sent their congratulations, including our brotherly club FK Vojvodina.
Our club was also addressed by Vico Zeljković, president of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina:
“I congratulate FK Borac on winning the Bosnia and Herzegovina championship title, which they achieved through consistent and high-quality performances throughout the entire season. The fact that they secured the title four rounds before the end of the league speaks volumes about the excellent season behind them. A new challenge now awaits Borac on the international stage, where, as champions, they will compete in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers. I believe their performances will contribute to the promotion of our football and leave a strong impression in European competitions. I wish them much success in the upcoming challenges.”
Congratulations have also arrived from numerous public and political figures in Republika Srpska. Among them, Milorad Dodik, president of SNSD, sent his message:
“I congratulate the players and management of Borac on the great and well-deserved victory over Sarajevo, which demonstrated their quality and championship mentality. This generation of Borac plays with heart for the club and the city and has once again proven that it is worthy of the greatest achievements.”
All members of the club’s Board of Directors share a sense of great pride. Bogoljub Zeljković, vice president of FK Borac, emphasized that this latest success once again showcased the team’s character, strength, and unity:
“This season has demonstrated character, strength, and unity—from the players on the pitch, the coaching staff, and the management, to the fans and the entire club workforce that contributes daily to this success. Borac has once again confirmed that it belongs at the very top of football in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The victory in Sarajevo and the championship title are not only a sporting achievement but also a source of pride for Banja Luka and Republika Srpska.”
