Ogrinec and Raspudić: We Are Going to Chisinau for the Win

Borac’s squad travels to Chisinau determined to secure another European victory.

The three-goal advantage earned in the “Banja Luka first half” against Petrocub is valuable, but it will not lead to any complacency within the team. From the opening whistle at Zimbru Stadium, Borac will be aiming for another win and confirmation of a place in the next round of the UEFA Conference League qualifiers.

“We are pleased with the result from the first match. Honestly, the margin could have been even greater, but there is no reason to dwell on that. We want to finish the job on Thursday. I hope our opponents will play more openly and leave us a little more space, but we have to focus on ourselves. We want to play intelligently, score as early as possible and see the match out calmly,” said Sandi Ogrinec.

Captain Srđan Grahovac is the only player unavailable, while the rest of the squad is ready for the match in Chisinau.

“All the players have been working very well and are motivated to earn their place in the team. We are travelling to Chisinau with a fully focused and serious approach, regardless of the advantage we hold. In the second leg, we want to score as early as possible and settle the question of qualification for the next round,” said Boris Raspudić, assistant coach at our club.

The match at Zimbru Stadium will be played on Thursday, kicking off at 7:00 p.m., with live coverage on Radio Television of Republika Srpska.
