PREMIER LEAGUE RACE: Karlo Perić “Breaks” Radnik
Our “red and blues” continued their winning streak, securing their sixth consecutive victory by defeating Radnik from Bijeljina 1–0. The only goal at the City Stadium was scored by Karlo Perić in the 52nd minute, when he sent the ball into the net.
Our team missed several more good chances, but in the end, it was a well-deserved win. Karlo Perić stood out with another strong performance, though he emphasized that maintaining the team’s winning run means more to him than his latest goal.
“It was a tough match for us, much harder than we expected. After two or three derby wins, a game like this comes along that many consider easy. However, it turned out to be a very difficult match. In the end, my goal made the difference, but I think it was the result of the entire team’s effort. We were rewarded for our work,” said Perić.
During the league break, our team will play a friendly match against TSC in Bačka Topola (March 28, 1:00 PM).
