A European Night to Remember: The Dream Becomes Reality Again

Our Red and Blues have secured their place in the UEFA Conference League after confirming their triumph over Víkingur at Banja Luka City Stadium with the same scoreline as in Iceland.

The 90 minutes in Banja Luka ended in a 3–1 victory, with Sebastián Herrera, Luka Juričić and Pavle Đajić scoring the goals that completed the comeback.

While we wait for the draw that will determine our European fixtures this autumn, Luka Juričić delivered a clear message.

“We are not afraid of anyone. We will fight against whoever comes our way, and then we will see what God has in store for us,” Juričić said after the match.

Head coach Vinko Marinović was full of praise for everyone at the club.

“We had a goal, we had our dream — to qualify for the Conference League, even though the draw was extremely difficult.

At the beginning of the qualifiers, we faced a very strong opponent in Levski, and after that we were once again drawn against difficult teams that had won their respective national championships.

These players showed tremendous character. This is the second time we have qualified for the Conference League, and it is starting to become a sign of continuity.

I would like to thank everyone at the club and our supporters, who have been an enormous source of strength and support for us,” Marinović said.
