Čato: East Stand Roof to Be Completed by the End of June
Construction work on the roof structure of the East Stand at the City Stadium is progressing at full pace, with the project gradually taking shape. All works are expected to be completed by the end of June.
“Everything is going according to plan, and the works are progressing even faster than we anticipated. The roof structure will be completed by the end of June, while work is also underway on the area beneath the East Stand. We will address the sanitary facilities in that section of the stadium as well. Once these works are completed, we will continue with the planned redevelopment of the space surrounding the East Stand, including the removal of the concrete fence and the complete modernization of the plaza beneath the stand, which will receive a completely new look,” said Dejan Čato, General Director of FK Borac.
The East Stand is undergoing a major transformation, while infrastructure development remains one of the club’s top priorities.
“For FK Borac, this is one of the most significant infrastructure projects in recent decades. Nothing substantial had been done to the East Stand for many years, and the effects of time were clearly visible. With the installation of the roof structure and the modernization of the area beneath the stand, I believe all our supporters will enjoy significantly better conditions when attending matches at the City Stadium,” added Čato.
