Marinović and Grahovac: We Know Our Goal!
Our "red-and-blues" face their first test in the spring part of the season, and they head into the clash with Velež with a clear objective—to continue where they left off in the autumn and take another three points.
"We have a demanding match at the start of the second part of the championship. It’s an opponent that is very well organized, has quality, and of course we’re aware of that. But what we want and need is for the focus to be on us—our game and the way we will carry it out on the pitch. I expect a tough match, but I believe we will play well, open the half-season in the best possible way, keep the advantage we have over Zrinjski from the first part, and go into the next round in the best possible mood," said Vinko Marinović, head coach of our staff.
The players are highly motivated to achieve all the set goals during the football spring.
"Another set of preparations is behind us. We all believe we prepared well, as the friendly matches showed. However, now comes what matters most—the spring part of the championship. We all know it’s much harder than the autumn part; for us, every match is like a final because we know the club’s goals. We’re here in first place, and we know we motivate every team. Everyone always wants to prove themselves and beat the best, and I believe that’s what we are at this moment. As captain, I’m pleased with how our young lads are working and how they asserted themselves during the preparations. The work was good, but what’s most important is now ahead of us. I believe the coach has pleasant dilemmas ahead of the restart," said Srđan Grahovac, captain of our team.
The match at the stadium in Vrapčići is scheduled for February 7, kicking off at 18:00.
