Ready for New Victories: Matej Deket Extends His Stay at Borac Until 2029

Since childhood, he has dreamed of achieving success in a Borac shirt, and now he has taken a major step onto the senior stage.

Matej Deket attracted attention with his talent long ago, and during his first season with the senior team, he once again showed his quality and potential.

He says that some of his fondest memories are connected to the City Stadium, while every time he puts on the Borac shirt, he is fully motivated to show everything he can do.

Therefore, there was never any doubt. Matej quickly reached an agreement with the club’s management on extending his contract and will remain loyal to Borac until 2029.

“For me, Borac is my first love and a club that has become my second family. Ever since I was a child, I dreamed of making my debut for the first team and then winning trophies with the club. Through hard work, I earned my place, but I am aware that this is only the beginning and that there is still a great deal of work ahead of me if I am to fulfil my other dreams.

“All of my plans are connected to FK Borac, and I had no hesitation when I received the offer to extend my contract. I am staying at home, and I am looking forward to many more victories,” said Deket.
